Positive news According to Indonesian legislation, retirees are eligible for a specific kind of visa called a Retirement Visa. The KITAS Index 319 Retirement Visa is a temporary residence visa that can be extended up to five more years and is given to individuals over the age of 55. You will be qualified to apply for a KITAP, a permission for indefinite stay, after five years. This is a multiple entry visa. You can leave the country and come back as many times as you need. Personal documents from applicant (possible in scan): - Address in Bali - Scan of the current visa which is still valid minimum 30 days when we submit passport to immigration - Passport (minimum validity 18 months) - Rental agreement - Copy ID of a landlord in rental agreement - Copy ID of 2 local persons (for contacts) - Insurance (any kind) - Bank statement with minimum balance of 21,000,000 IDR or $1500 - Certificate of vaccination - Domicile letter from Banjar authority The full process takes 2-2.5 months (does not include public holidays and days off). Important note: Kitas applicants should have a valid stay permit for minimum 30 days to submit their application. FOR ONSHORE PROCESS (!) If the sponsors of current visa and Kitas is different, then the customer must include all company documents (Akta Notaris, SK Menteri, NPWP, Izin Lokasi, Izin Usaha, KTP from one of the shareholders Company or KTP Manager) and eVisa. If the previous stay permit is individual sponsor, it’s mandatory to include KTP & Family Card.
