Updated travel regulations and quarantine requirements for Bali & Indonesia
Travelers must consider the following two things to determine which rules apply to them:
1. The general requirements for travel in connection to health and vaccination laws, customs, the validity of passports, etc. You can efficiently organize your trip by reading the accompanying FAQ, which will walk you through the criteria.
2. There are also the visa regulations, which concern your passport, citizenship, intended purpose of trip, and duration of stay.
Updated Bali and Indonesian quarantine rules and requirements

Can I visit Bali?
To be able to travel and enter Indonesia, there are still obstacles to overcome and things to be aware of. We will walk you through the travel and visa procedures in our FAQ sections.
Do I Need Visa?
Depending on your nationality, purpose for visiting, and intended stay. To see what pertains to you, please click the icon below. Bali Visa Requirements
Do I Still Need A PCR Test?
No, a PCR Test is no longer required to enter Bali or Indonesia. But complete vaccination is required for all travelers.
What Are The Requirements For Bali Travel In Terms Of Vaccinations And Quarantine?
1. COMPLETE VACCINATION (can travel)
Fully immunized travelers DO NOT require quarantine and may now enter Indonesia without a PCR test.
2 or more dosages are required to be fully protected. Johnson & Johnson is considered two doses.
2. NOT IMMUNIZED (only with medical exemption letter)
Only those who are medically exempt from vaccinations are permitted to enter Bali, Indonesia (comorbidity diseases or other reasons that clearly state that for medical reasons they can not be vaccinated).
You require: A letter from a physician stating your medical and/or health issues and the basis for your exemption from vaccinations.
If you opt not to get vaccinated for personal reasons, you are not allowed to travel to Bali, Indonesia (other than medical conditions).
3. ONE DOSE (only if recovered)
You must obtain a recovery certificate stating that you are not actively transmitting Covid-19 if you only received one dosage because you were recovering from Covid-19.
You need a recovery certificate to travel to Bali if you have only received one dose of the vaccine.
EVIDENCE OF IMMUNIZATION
You must have a Covid vaccination evidence, either digital or printed (the last dose must be taken 14 days before traveling to Indonesia).
Note: The airline will often check your immunization status when you check in (along with all of the other requirements). It's possible that when you arrive in Indonesia, authorities won't even look into your status. The authorities will instead rely on the airlines, thus this does not suggest that the mandate is no longer in effect.
DATE OF VACCINATION (Expiry)
Indonesia does not currently take the dates of immunization into consideration. The only thing under control is vaccination rates.
QUARANTINE
There are currently no more quarantine requirements. Either you are eligible to enter Indonesia or you are not allowed to go there.
AIRLINES
Rules are subject to change, and some authorities and airlines may enforce them more strictly than others. Airlines occasionally fail to stay current and may request documents that are really no longer required. Please double-check the Indonesia travel restrictions with your airline.
What Regulations Apply For Children?
1. In general, children under the age of 18 do not need immunizations.
2. Children who require a B211A visa (not a Visa on Arrival) must submit a medical statement letter confirming that they are too young to receive the necessary vaccinations as part of the application procedure.
What Else Do I Need To Prepare To Travel To Bali or Indonesia?
Other MANDATORY Requirement
1. If you are landing in Bali, complete the ONLINE Customs declaration Form: E-CD (Electronic Custom Declaration). SAVE TIME AT THE AIRPORT and fill in the form BEFORE you arrive.
2. Return ticket: Airlines and immigration officials have the right to demand that you have a return ticket that departs within the validity period of your visa.
3. Passport, needs to be valid at least 6 months from day of arrival. No exceptions, they will send you back otherwise!
4. The passport needs at least one empty page.
5. Emergency Passports and Temporary Travel Documents are these days not accepted
6. Download of the PeduliLindungi App

Does It Make Sense To Travel To Bali via Jakarta?
You can still choose to travel via Jakarta and then take a domestic flight to Bali if you can't find a flight to Bali. Airlines that frequently fly to Bali include Citilink, Batik Air, Air Asia, Lion Air, and Garuda. Ticket price one way 50-150USD.
This might be worthwhile, especially if there is a significant price difference between flying to Jakarta and flying directly to Bali.
How Much Cash Can I Bring To Indonesia?
Don't bring more than the equivalent worth of IDR 100,000,000 cash into the country.
