One of Bali's largest and oldest trees, known as Kayu Putih, is a huge tree located in the island's center. It's a lovely tree that, like many other sites in Bali, has a "fairy tale" vibe to it.
While Bali does have a lot of fantastic Banyan trees, it's also referred to as the "Kapok tree" or the "Bayan ancient tree" on certain websites (Bayan is the area). This term has undoubtedly confused some people regarding the exact species!

Given how well-suited it is for shots and how easily accessible it is from Ubud Bali and other major Bali tourist destinations, we are confident that this tree will soon become a well-known Instagram location.
This travel guide will outline how to get there and provide all the information you require beforehand!
History
In Bahasa Indonesian, the name Kayu Putih translates to "White Wood" and derives from the hue of the massive tree trunk.
Although some people just refer to the tree as a great banyan tree because it is referred to as the "Bayan Ancient Tree" in Instagram postings, identifying the species may be trickier than that. My initial thought was a kapok tree, but We believe the scientific name is Ficus albipila. This tree is a fairly uncommon variety in Bali, however it may be categorized as a form of banyan.
The tree is said to be more than 50 meters tall and 700 years old by the neighborhood people, which means it was a baby when several of Bali's well-known temples were being constructed.

One of our favorite trees in Southeast Asia, this one is interesting. The potential for photography is incredible.
The Kayu Putih tree is located close to a small Balinese temple, although you are not need to wear a sarong in this instance in order to walk around the tree's perimeter.
But, I wouldn't advise doing so because you might face repercussions. Although the tree is revered by the people, courtesy is requested.
Overall, it's a fantastic location to explore in conjunction with the adjacent Taman Ayun Temple and the Sangeh Monkey Forest.

There are a lot of wonderful places to take pictures here, but the tree is so big that you really need a wide-angle lens to do it properly.
Entrance Fee
The tree is free to view, however there is a donation box where visitors are required to leave a little payment. They accepted our tip of 10,000 Rupiah without issue.
An extra tip would be greatly appreciated and go a long way if you asked a local to snap photos of you standing by the tree.
How To Get There
The Kayu Putih tree can be found in Bali's Tabanan regency in the Bayan Banjar neighborhood. Google Maps lists it as "Bayan Ancient Tree" or "Wisata Kayu Putih."
The tree and community are located one hour's drive north of Ubud or Canggu Bali, and a well paved road runs the entire distance. Getting a private car with a driver is the most effective way to get there, You can check on Our Service
More Bali Trees
Check out the Bunut Bolong tree in west Bali, an old Banyan tree with a hollow trunk that you can drive through if you want to see even more amazing trees. In the northern region of Bali, near Bedugul, there is also the Bali Botanical Garden. Several various tropical plant and tree species may be found in this 160-hectare park, including a twisted big Banyan tree that resembles one of the Lord of the Rings' walking tree ents.
A trip to this park can be easily combined with other attractions in north Bali, such as the well-known Pura Ulun Danu Bratan lake temple.
